20 Years of Vertigo, Neck and Low Back Pain
Over 20 years ago I was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease in my cervical and lower lumbar spine. Over time I developed a myriad of issues in my head, neck and back. They ranged from varying degrees of pain to vertigo. Initially I did not realize that the vertigo was related to the neck issues and thought this indicated something far worse as it became so debilitating at times. Frequently it was difficult to tilt my head back far enough to take a drink and often found myself drifting to one side as I walked.
20 Years of Vertigo, Neck and Low Back Pain

At one point, it was suggested that I have a cervical fusion. Having worked in a neurosurgeon’s office and seeing the difficult, complicated recovery involved in this type of surgery and no real assurance of resolution of symptoms, I resolved NEVER to take this approach. I sought alternative treatment options. My symptoms waxed and waned in varying degrees for the next 20 plus years. This winter my symptoms worsened considerably. At this time two independent friends told me about this fantastic chiropractor in Kensington and both gave me brochures. I contacted Dr. Roth’s office in December and it was the best thing I’ve ever done for my overall health. Within one month of treatment my vertigo lessened 70%. It has been four months now and feel as though I have a new lease on life. My neck and back pain has dramatically improved and the vertigo is practically non-existent. Thanks to Dr. Roth my friends tell me I’m no longer a “dizzy dame”. My only regret was not finding Dr. Roth sooner. Ever grateful, Marsha D.
